Upper Savannah Job Fair Registration, Oct. 30
Employers are invited to register for the fall job fair to be held at Piedmont Technical College from 9 am to 1 pm. This fair will feature a early bird admission (9 am to 10 am) for PTC students, alumni and veterans and is open to the public from 10 am to 1 pm.
The event is offered at no cost. But, space is limited. To ensure that both employers and attendees have the best opportunity to get the most out of the event, priority is given to employers who meet at least two of the following three criteria:
1. Has job vacancies in the seven county area (Abbeville, Edgefield, Greenwood, Laurens, McCormick, Newberry and Saluda.)
2. Hires direct (Not a staffing agency). Companies may request that a staffing agency attend for them, but the registration needs to come from the client not the staffing company.
3. Offers opportunities for existing workers to train for higher paying jobs by offering company sponsored training, tuition reimbursement or registered apprenticeship.
If spaces remain after October 5, registration will open to all employers. We will post an alert on our Facebook site, Upper SC Works to let employers know of the opportunity.
Please note: Solicitation is not allowed at the job fair. This includes promoting credit card applications.
